ahh so its the paddle wankers that don't like speedboats !!!
we have them over here in the uk, total bunch of toss pots who like paddle crap and sailing.
why dont they just go down small canals and leave others to enjoy themselves.
Better still , why dont they goand paddle on ponds, they would be at home with the other pond life.
these people would get the hump if you turned up with an electric boat that done 50mph and silent.

what is it with people who buy these bloody paddle things ? do they think they are suffers ?
is it a gay thing ?,
I just dont get buying a lump of plastic and paddling it.

and how long have speedboats actually been using this lake ?
.

Yes the ongoing battle continues. Contact a local charity, the local chamber of commerce and hold a poker run that supports the local charity. Invite the media and the OPP and show them that people with loud boats are good people, safe boaters and support good causes ;)

... And there are many Christians that also drive loud - fast boats ;) Let me know what I can do to help ;)

I believe we should be doing this anyways. Especially on the river runs. Imagine being a sick kid (or adult even) and getting the ride of your life in our boats. A day they wouldn't ever forget, we're just lucky enough we can do it any time we choose.

Exactly Shaun. Don't let small minded thinking get in the way of a BIGGER story. I like the idea of the boat ride day for the kids and their families. I am sure an insurance company would help support it too. ;)

Maybe get in touch with the local snowmoble club as they are often looking for summer activities and may have ins. that can be piggy backed on.

All the clubs are covered by ofsc and they wont cover any boating. Rotary club is your best bet, they have a great blanket insurance that covers any kinda special events there involved with

Invite some media, a little positive PR will go a long way. If someone is interested in spearheading this, I'd be on board to help out where I can

Count me in! This puts a positive spin on it but we may have to keep it under 90

We would be willing to participate, as well.
