I was asked if I didn’t like 4 Stroke Outboards.
Answer:
My last two outboard purchased are both 4 strokes. A mercury and a Suzuki..The Mercury is a Formula 4 60 hp. The Suzuki is a 10 hp. My oldest 2 stroke is a 650XS which I have owned since 1977.
I am not knowledgeable about 4 strokes at all, so I don’t start many threads.

2 Strokes:
I purchased my first 2 Stroke Yamaha in 1984 and my first tohatsu in 1991. Back then those outboards were the uncommon brands. Yamahas have become very popular and tohatsu is still not that well established in Canada.
I have spend a lot of time learning about and working on certain model outboards thru racing. We have raced tohatsu 40C, mercury 650xs, Yamaha 70CES , OMC SST 60, and tohatsu 50D Outboards. I am very knowledgeable on those models, but not on modified versions.
This site does have more threads about TBoats than any other subjects because few people start any new threads on other topics.
I love T class and would love to see it grow back to where it was a few years ago. I also want to keep this site active and support all types of boat racing.
New threads on 4 strokes would be of interest to many & we could get more people posting.
