Does anyone know the actual color the evinrude SST 60 was. Is it just black or was it black metallic. Restoring one to brand new. Paint code would be very helpful. |

I have the same manual. Just unsure where the black goes and where the black metallic goes. Was the mid, clamp, swivel and lower black or metallic black. |

Not sure if any Johnson/Evinrude dealers would still have the old microfiche parts files to look up the OMC spray paint codes so you could get the exact colour match duplicated. The old OMC spray paint was awesome product. It flowed out perfect with no orange peel. |

Don't quote me 100% for resto purposes, from what I understood it was just the gear case that was straight black. All else was black metallic. And yes the OMC colour match spray paint was UNREAL good back in the day. |

Just checked our SST60 lower and it appears to be plain black. The mid and clamp should be the metallic black |
