Does a 15" option exist for V4 Omc's, something from the 80's? I have seen 20" to 15" conversion projects but is there a factory 15" part? Has anyone completed a conversion that can share and issues they had to deal with?

There is one in Ontario on a Viper. The fellow was on fast boats a few years ago.
Is this the look you want? You would need to go back into the 70's for a factory 15 inch.

Was it a yellow Viper? There's one around the corner from my work, but pretty sure it has a 3 cyl. As well as another on a stand in the garage

Thanks Don
I'm not necessarily looking for an offshore style but that would work for sure....I also have a Viper between motors at the moment and was wondering what my options would be? I thought about this a couple of years ago regarding a v4 motor for the SST60 tunnel i have. The weight ratio maybe off but I thought it would be a fun ride

Thanks for finding the post

That has quite the list of mods.......Not sure I would need to go that far, but you never know. I would like to find a factory 15" mid if possible. I have some info saved from years ago from a post on Scream and Fly form "Wolfgang" on all the stock V4 parts to match together for a performance built V4. If anyone has one let me know, It would be an interesting build.

Those motors look great .....Don can you explain how these motors performed compared to the stock versions? I have seen pic's of Bill's GP before and admired them...They sound like they were torque'y motors? I have seen a 135 Strangler in a garage of a fella I was buying parts from but he wanted big money for it.
