So happens I know a lot about both the 50 hp Tohatsu and the 70 hp CES yamaha.

He explains what he is doing each step of the way.
He spends lots of money on parts, props and machine work.
Major hours of his own time.
And all of his efforts result in NO IMPROVEMENT.
Our stock Tohatsu 50 hp turns an 11 x 18 Mercury thru hub at 6700 rpm...57 mph
Our stock Yamaha 70CES turns a 12 X 18 Mercury thru hub at 6800 rpm...67 mph
Our motors are on V hulls. His are on a SLT.
His results are common when people get in over their head.
