Can this 1989 Land-N-Sea Jack Lift support a 525 Lb 250 hp Outboard

Which lift is it???

I think it's the late 80'2 early 90's with the omc trim pump.

Struggle lifting it or struggle just driving it without the lift?

that plate was not designed for the big motas! try Paul at top gun or John Spaeth and see if you can pickup a used one. did you get a chance to look at the big Yammi yet?

I wouldn't try it.
I had one of those lifts back in the 80's and I recall something about them being rated for (back then) v-6 use only (not v-8's). I think the jist of the warning was that they were designed for a 2.4/2.5/2.6 v-6 and not the monster 3.4 v-6 or 3.6/4.0 v-8.
