Buddy of mine just picked up a charger with a 150 xr4 with an off shore case with low water pick-ups. No jack plate on it so just wondering what set back these boats like so we can get a jack with the right amount.

Alright thanks! Would a manual style work or does it need to be hydro so you can drop the motor down to get on plane and raise it back up once goin?

Hydraulic is definitley quicker with set up but I still prefer the manual (because I'm cheap and it's easy)..

Well got it out this weekend with a 6" off set jack plate. Managed to see just shy of 70mph with a 26 pitch 4 blade trophy prop with the jack plate only up about 2-3". Have a 26 pitch chopper to try next, once we get a new water pressure gauge in we will try some more motor height. Its got an off shore case so it should be fine but dident wanna chance it lol.

Hey Carson
Any chance your buddy would bring the DL to Dunnville and drag race it in the Formula class?
