Post subject: | transferring internals of a lower unit |
hi all i have a titus lower unit and it was made from a stock merc lower. i currently have a stock merc 200 promax lower on the motor and want to put the internals from the stock lower into the titus low water lower. other then a merc dealer, does anyone know of someone who will do this in the Manitoba area? or should i just go and get it done at a shop? If the titus lower is made from a stock merc lower, will it still have to be shimmed different then the stock lower? thanks for the replies |

Usually you have to shim to match the case to account for any machining differences. Any merc dealer should be able to handle the job or if you've got a good shop in your area that does a lot of lowers... |

Consider shipping it to to Dave Pally at Pally's Performance in Saskatoon...or even drive it there. |
