The operation is the same. the difference is with the wing plates added to the motor reducing the torque on the cables and increasing stability to the motor much like dual cable steering does! The helm unit is the same! Proper geometry is critical to keep the cables taught with steering motion and trim input! It's superior to hyd. in my opinion as it's very easily tuned to a drivers preference for ratio!

Systems designed for bigger applications like a V6 use 2 bearings on the steering column. Contact Wintech Engine & Machine in Wisconsin, they'll have what ya need if your looking for parts and pcs.

It's comin.
Work is so busy I can't string together more then an hour or two back to back to work on it.
It's about to start goin back together.
Stripped out all the carpet and cleaned up the goo.
Glassed in a new mount for the foot throttle (about 6" farther forward).
Sanded out the interior and actually finished painting it about 2 hrs ago.
Supposed to be less then perfect this weekend so I may get a few hrs in the shop.
Fingers crossed!
