May not help you today, but what size are they? I do make the Merc lifting rings and would like to add these to the list. |

Backyard method 3 bolts, 3 pieces of chain and another bolt should do the trick. I Think they are 5/16 fine thread to fit the flywheel Bolt the chain to to each location. Join them together with another bolt. Then hook on with your block and tackle, or what ever your going to lift with |

I may be a nervous nelly but those are the bolt holes to pull the flywheel and not lift the motor. I wouldn't want to lift the motor by the flywheel.... I am not familiar with OMCs but isn't there another spot to thread in a monster eye bolt to lift the motor? |

I am not familiar with OMCs but isn't there another spot to thread in a monster eye bolt to lift the motor? It's strong enough...don't worry. The factory merc lifting ring screws into the flywheel and has for years...even the Verado has one that bolts on and that weighs more than my boat! |

the omc lifting ring bolts into those 3 holes,,,so a chain would work,, but a plate with some holes and a ring or chain welded to it would be closer to factory |
