Well first time in the pond i was getting very little water pressure, under 10psi so i never opened it up. Dropped it down one hole and tried again. 15psi at wot, got 68.8mph the next pass or two. It feels like a totally different animal, steering feels better, only the boat handles a touch different

68mph and your just trying it out easy !!!!
man that is bloody flying.
I was expecting maybe 60mph while your giving it a try out. and even that is bloody fast.
But 68mph is realy moving.
glad it ran well for ya.
now you need to take a friend to the lake with a good camera to get some video.

we realy need stuff like that over here.

Sounds like your getting the hang of it....what kinda rpm?

My tach is saying 6500ish. Based on how it sounds at speed, I'd almost think it was rev'ing higher.
Edit: With a bit of looking online i found 12 pole is the same as 6 pulse?
I just had it back out again for a rip, got 69.3 mph out of it this time. I would love to try a 22 or 23 pitch cleaver to know how to tweak my 24 this winter/fall

Looking good.

Do you know what kinda compression you have?

The 24 pitch you have now is it a ron hill or omc and has anybody worked it in the past.

160psi is what I got for compression. My prop is a 12 1/2" x 24 pitch ron hill cleaver, never worked as yesterday was its first run. Hoping to break 70mph in the next few days
