hey guys

long time no see for alot of you! taught I'd joing in on here also! I looked around and found alot of nice boats on here and some good info also!

soo...to re-introduce my ride since there was alot done, I baught a charger stv 2.5hrs ago and re-did it all over. core,paint,power,steering,rigging....all of it. got around 20hrs on a freshly rebuilt 2.4 bridgeport and I love it. 89.2mph so far with a hydromotive t3x prop, but threw a blade the next day so I couldnt improve on that.

Holly Molly! The boat looks great.
10 times better with the paint. Did you do the paint yourself?
What did ya use?

no I had the top painted by bodyshop guy who gave me a great deal. the bottom needs attention..but money and motivation to work on something no one will see lacks a bit lol...

I love the boat! but doing it again I dont know if I'd go with black...its the best looking color for shure but you can scratch it with your eyes!!! base coat/clear coat it NOT gelcoat for shure! like I tell everybody...try to sit down or walk on your car and see how it looks in a couple of years...

That looks awesome! I do remember your old boat and miss your Yamaha :( on it. The Bridgeport does look cool hanging back there. You must be happy with how it all turned out and the numbers you are running!

Welcome aboard!

The boat turned out great! Many of us missed the end of that project lol. I would have been interested to see the difference between he Yami and the Merc. 89 is moving in a needle-nose...congrats!

last year with the yammi I ran a best of 83.5mph. BUT I had a crappy steering system and swapped to a seastar this year. I also only had acess to a 28 and 30 chopper so prop selection wasnt the best... no torque tab so it always blew out around 82-83.But I think the main difference is that I can run my merc 1in higher because of the extra hole on the clamp (1in above instead of even for the yammi). I got the weight down a bit...but fuel consumption went up lol...

here pics with the yammi last year

boat looks great, the paint will hold up i would not worry, you can touch it up , get some of the small touch up containers with the brush attached, you can get clearcoat in them too. Unless you have a cany apple red boat that is a different shade every foot or so LOL. we'll have to get out for a run sometime, hopefully I get the ae running that good LOL
