Hey guys, I've got to do something about the carpet in my boat this year. I was thinking about doing a white Gel floor with black webbing. I never realized though that this process is done with a compressor/hvlp gun?
Anyone know if I have other options?
I saw a guy who used krylon webbing spray and it looked good. Just not sure how long it will hold up?

The web spraying looks interesting, might try it on the floor of the delta.

Noahs out by us will have some ideas I'm sure. No matter how comfortable for the kids it is, carpet in a boat seems to be a bad idea. spends 99% of its life wet and dirty. I might do something custom in my ae in the next few years, maybe a composite floor with a textured, coloured coating.

If this is the race boat, Save the weight...
gel is heavy.

Clean out the glue

Hey Pat, I gel coated the inside of the Seebold. We rolled it on but it is a solid colour(grey). I like it because it sealed all the glass work I did. I am leaving it as itmis lighter than carpet and easier to clean!!

lol race is a strong word.
I'm not that worried about weight just yet. Still haven't made my mind up yet.
