If it's a 1992, I don't believe it can be raced... the block/powerhead is slightly different I believe. I think 1989 is last year?

Comparing block part number with spec manual will tell, the only legal block is part number 396780

Good deal though!! Had me tempted until I read the year. And correct me if I'm wrong (entirely possible)

Can still be converted to use the quickie foot though I believe... great for seaflea or cottage hydro use.

Cool, well that satisfy's any temptations of mine to use this as a new block haha. It's part number or so it seems is 3063614. Though I can't seem to find that matching number in the parts fiche on brps site. I could be wrong on the year, however the motor is dark blue. http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicle ... Z414267492

Still LOTS of parts that are the same and can be used on it for a race motor. Just not worth converting for racing in my opinion.

Still good deal for a 15 hp fishign motor I think.

Good luck with sale.

Did some reading... it sounds like 1992 did have the correct block, was the last year... but verify the number. 396780 is the only legal block.

"The only permitted cylinder block is OMC part number 396780. The part number is cast on the
top of the block on the exhaust side. Service number 396010 includes block 396780"
