It is a very interesting read. Lots of future famous people racing in lower classes. Boat speeds that are WAY faster than you would have thought for 1973. Inexpensive boats, motors and parts compared to to-day.

FE is very similar to your T850.....The new record of 65 MPH is set by a MERCURY! Most always thought that the OMC was always top dog from 1968 up... That was not true....The OMC Nitro case Stinger appeared in 1975 as did the Mercury 650XS. .. The Mercury's running in 1973 were the twin carb fishing motor....65 MPH....impressive!!!
