Now go and watch the videos at the right speed !!!!!
nearly all of them down the southern states are speeding up their videos.

none of them hit anywhere near what they try and claim. the only ones that go quick use NOS.

how the fuck would you know what people in the USA run?.. https://youtu.be/w8or4OuQEAU?t=32s

C'mon Boomer! It's phillnjack, Forum Legend. He just knows...

Poor sad kevi . such a pillock,
but then only to be expected, as the best part of him ran down his mums leg.

anyway back to the subject ..

Boomer how do I know ?
well that might just be because a very old close friend of mine just happens to have a 55mph boat down on
the sabine that these fools cant catch.
now a genuine 55mph boat should be dead easy for a 70mph boat to go past ?
the only ones who can catch him and go past use the blue bottles of NOS, he knows that as he sells the stuff.
( now anyone who goes down there will know who I am talking about).

this is a clip of their video, not one of mine.
this is their 60mph 10ft boat ha ha

if you think this can do 70mph then your the fucking idiot, not me.

me get nasty ? I wouldn't dream of it.
I dont get angry, ya never win a fight if you lose control.

As for testing the carbs !!! not a chance due to shitty uk weather .
local slipway to me has also been out of bounds due to renovations so the river has been a no no.
the sea this time of year is normally a touch rough, but we have had about 2 months of crazy winds bringing in abnormal waves ( surfers have been loving it.
I dont expect to get much over 45mph on the next trip to be honest. never know the fucker might sink.

there is another boat same as mine that uses a hotted up 1992 56 cu in bridgeport engine with boyesen reeds
and been ported when rebuilt.
he uses a 12 3/4 x 19 powertech prop and gets 43.5 mph at 6,000 rpm
so that's 1.2mph more than me with 100 rpm more too. with a slip of under 3%. still using original 60hp carbs.

mine is standard reeds, no porting, total bog standard with 13x19 5900 rpm 42.3.mph slip of 3.54%

with the bigger 70hp carbs I am only hoping for about 6300 rpm with same prop .

as you can see these boats run very wet, they cry out for a bow lifting prop to be used for higher speed.

this is another Orkney dory 4 metre with the 1992 60 bridgeport
