Hi folks
can someone please explain what the talk is of bungee on the outboard engines ?
is this something that all speed boats should have ?
is it something just for rough water use ?
or is it to use instead of replacing broken /worn parts ?

I have read where some people put 6 bits of bungee on the engine !!!
please explain what this is all about and pics if possible.
I don't think its something we get this side of the pond, ive never come across Bungee on engines.
also how expensive is this stuff and where to get it if I need it ha ha

phill

Bungee systems are useful on Thunder Cats where you're running an outboard tiller, they counteract torque created by surfacing props thus giving your arm a break.
