Out of curiosity, what gas do you guys run? I've been using Petro 91, but was thinking of using strictly Shell 91. I always fill up my gas tanks then bring it to my boat.

91 Shell if possible in the SRV....my lawn tractor appreciates the left overs from the half tank I burn every season lol.

VP C-12 in what needs it, the rest comes from my bulk tank. I've been dealing with Mayes Martin for years. They used to be a Shell (only) distributor but haven't been for a few years. 91 octane, no ethanol. Works great and no ethanol issues......and no jerry cans!

I too like Shell 91, but having said that I rarely use it. If the boat is on the trailer it gets whatever mid grade from whatever station I'm at, on the lake the Marina owner tells me his gas is premium with no ethanol so that works for me too. I did run regular until I cut the heads a bit, I could probably still run it and It would be fine. 1 can Sea-Foam every tank. My 225 had a half tank of last years gas in it at the beginning of the year, I held it wide open the length of Kushog on May 24 weekend... and it was fine... I wanted a new motor this year so I figured why not... lets see how bad last years fuel is after sitting all winter. The boat runs the best on mid, seems to loose a bit on premium. Just my 2c for what it's worth.

X2 on Shell premium, from HWY 12 of the Beaverton marina who sells it in their pump.
