Awesome,

I will update the placements and points in the morning.
Other than Archer, there was some very close racing.
Thanks to all that showed up. I hope you all had a good time.
For those that do not understand the pairing, I will also post how it was done and why.
This was double elimination racing, just as ODBA and DSRA run there races, you could have the third fastest boat, or the third slowest boat, and if you get a tough draw you could be out in two passes.
That being said I appreciate all who participated, and hope to see you all in Dunville.
There is talk from our friends in the south that they might come up and play with us also.
There will also be classes.

Rob

That's great video Jason! I missed the show on Saturday but I heard it was VERY cool and Sundays was awesome (even with some scratches)....you can see the guys starting to get their setups dialed in.

Great video Jay.
From being in your boat and knowing how it accelerates, what does Archer have?!?!?!?
Man, does that thing haul!

Was wondering is for next year at Gravenhurst, or any race really... can the drag buoys be lined up down the inside line of the oval? Instead of the centre of the oval?

So drag lane 1 would be just on the inside of the oval, and drag lane 2 would be down the front straight of the oval? The white buoys would run down towards the oval start line, in line with the oval turn exit pin and in line with the oval inside finish line marker.

This would get the boats a lot close to the people and a bigger sense of speed for them.

Just an idea talking out loud.

I second that if you guys could get closer it would give a better effect of speed
