Got my new lower unit nose coned today, and boy was it a bitch to get the water pick up hole drilled perfect. Very little clearance on either side of the drill bit. The most interesting thing I found on this one is that the dimensions are almost identical to my 75 mariners nose coned case. So either the 75's case is massive or these v6 merc cases are tiny haha :lol:

What type of come did you put on in the end and did you do it yourself?

Put on a bobs cone that we do ourselfs. This is my 7th cone install and should have number 8 this winter. If I have time I can do it in around 2-3 weeks.
