Hey thanks for the reply's ! As for the boats it won't be a critchfield it will start from one. These guys want to laser scan my boat, modify the hull a bit & make new decks open & race version .. Still at the begining stage at the moment .... We will see if it flys! Also looking into a GT30 V design ... I think it will be a good seller to the 16 & under crowd that don't want to rip the family TIn boat!

Trophies- we could get some sponsor $$ or pitch 20 extra on entry fees etc I'm open to ideas Nothing beats Bringing hardware home from a race!

Dock start- I don't think finding people to hold boats will be a problem ! All the guys that hold the stocks could hold the T's or vice versa!

Hey guys just testing the waters ! Just wondering how many people would be interested in new T850/T750 race or pleasure boats? I have been talking with a few guys that build carbon fiber F1 cars that are interested in maybe making a mold off my boat .

Also What do you guys think of Running Dock or Beach starts next year? It will change the competition completely. Everyone won't be looking for that top end prop anymore! OPC classes never ran a clock! Lamans starts with a commitment pin is how it's done!

One more thing what do you guys think about trophies or medals for first 2nd & 3erd ?

Great idea Mike. i support 100%- Beach/dock starts, and awards.

regarding the boat, if you start with a very nice boat like your Blue Critch and pop a mould off it and spend the time to make the molds perfect... it would be much better than buying old molds and trying to fuck with them... doing all new ones are obviously time consuming but it will be awesome..

i also think T's, Drags and thundercats need there own Circuit (more Races) .... they could be sooooooo much bigger. a team like Todd (High Command Distributing), Mike Hooper, Jason Famme to fire it up. the gun and Giger to supply the hardware to the local community there no telling how big it could get. i'd help anyway i can. (I have lots of Time)

You make some awesome videos. I'm sure a couple of N.J Cole Production promotional videos could go a long way in drumming up sponsors to host new events

Trophies aren't a huge expense. I used to hold car audio competitions, bought trophies for all classes before even knowing how many entries I'd have. The first few times I went home with a few, so from then on I had them made a little less specific and was able to re-use ones I hadn't given out at concurrent shows. Was a lot more efficient for me, maybe a little less personal for the recipient, but they still appreciated the hardware. The local source for sports was who I went to, buying 20 trophies (large 1st place, small 2nd and 3rd, 2 lines of script) averaged out to about $250, made up in entry fees. I could run a car show with 4 guys though, I imagine boat races is a different story....
