pick the motor up yesterday morning.
seems like I got a good deal. the engine sat for 4 years according to the owner, a compression test showed pretty good
#1@ 123, #2@ 120, #3@ 125,#4@ 125 #5@ 125 #6@125

the issues.
its missing a aluminum clasp where the rubber cowl tie downs go,
it needs a starter repair, as the bendix does not advance upwards to engage the starter ( no big deal)

good stuff.
cowl is in great shape. ill have to put correct to the era graphics on it.
comes with a "lead foot" throttle and foot rest,
two trim pumps,
controls with the KEY!! lol
and the gear case appears to be good as well, oil doesn't smell burnt at all.

thanks!
i am just printing some cowl decals right now.
here is my problem now, i cant find the serial number at all!!, its not on the transom bracket, or near the steering arm. and i know mercuy usually stamped a serial into a welsh plug, i found only one welsh plug at the top of the engine and it has nothing stamped in it.
the only number i was able to pull off, was 0do3o377

Nice looking good find...decalls look great...just one concern make sure there is no water damage if the motor has been lying on its side for a period of time...all the best :)
