does anyone use it to get payed? i recived an email from a person interested in a motor i have but they say they want to pay thru pay pal and have it shipped ,, i suggested they send someone with cash to pick it up..

PayPal works well...but with anything people can scam...PayPal is pretty secure though. I use it a lot..it does cost you 3% though.if the guy is from Nigeria it's likely a scam though

dont know where shes from,, she wants my paypal info to send the funds,she said she will pay the 3% and wants my address to send a shipping company,, it just sounds kinda legit,, but it seems shifty.. should i ask her to call me and see if she sounds Canadian,

i have done a couple deals like that, they work well paypal is very secure.
contact by phone first, and after that its usually safe, find out her address so you can include it in the " message" when you receive payment.
otherwise if you have any hesitation why not a money order!

..... sounds fukky if i can't talk to them i dont want to deal with them..... kijiji has been nothing but annoying lately for me,, they only allow 2 adds, and now im getting scam e-mail the day after i re-post an add,, makes it hard to sell anything,,, kijiji must be conspiring against me
