It's just a 200 boomer. Some fatherly advice would be to stay away from modded stuff unless it was done by somebody reputable and you know the history. 2.5 200 mercs are apparently pretty reliable. It is not an offshore ... It's just a standard mid. Cut and welded homemade mids on mercs can be weak.

Paul probably has stuff lying around if you want a merc.

bhhaahgggfffytrkk i dont want a merc, im stuck with one  ,, i will take your fatherly advice and stick to stock stuff unless dok says its good ;) , i want a mod 2.6l , gotta get back to work, my wrist is getting better.. :D

Were there differences in cowls on 225 PMs/260s/280s of that era for Merc? I have always liked that style of cowl...

iv always liked the look of those motors aswell,, only thing i think looks out of place is the 20" mid,, looks too long,, 15 or even 12" looks bad ass under that pan and cowl... now enough of this merc talk, whats a vx 250 with a 25" mid worth these days? :D

ya its a steal,,compare it other 200 mercs without the lwp and light weight cowl, it half the price , if it has compression go for it,,
