I was the only Thundercat there... we had fun still! Waves were 2'-3' with the odd 4' when we went out on first run, and 2' with odd 3' on second run. GPS couldn't handle the vibration so no idea how fast we went, but I'd guess at about 45. It was windy. Graham was in the nose. The ride was quite smooth actually considering, but without a bungee or damper on the motor my arm was wore out after just a few straights. Had a little break, changed out props and went again, then I was done. We had one "Oh Sh!t" moment when we jumped in the air, then the back clipped a roller and pointed the nose down but it came through fine.
We asked the crowd of watchers at the swap meet if anyone wanted to go for a ride and they all looked at us like were nuts. Their loss, haha. I have more bumps and briuses running the hydro on calm water. Stayed completely dry.
Next stop on the social run/demo/display calendar is Quinte Ilse Campground Resort on June 2 I think.
