yes,, it reduces engine flutter, solid motor mounts are also used,, for better handling...

Hi Guys....... needs some help :x .... so last night i had time to play with the boat, when i bought her buddy didn't have water fins so he quickly started it up for me.. my problem is this
I CAN'T START HER. it fired up then just died... i smelled gas so i pulled of the engine cover... i noticed carbs leaking gas...... now its like i have no gas getting to motor. :x .. i also noticed primer ball would not stay firm... thoughts anyone..

sounds like dirty carbs, and your primer ball might need to be replaced.

I believe your boat is a Fiberform. The hull is a Checkie splash, or a splash of a splash. The deck is Fiberforms, my 14ft Fiberform (Sidewinder splash) had the same deck lines, especially in the rear.
