This could be thread of the year.... lol.

I only want my V-21 to go as fast as IT can go... I can actually drive a v-bottom so I don't need training wheels.... I can do those speed with my dogs and cooler and sunbrella etc. in the boat.. With room to spare. Not to mention the fact that the V-21 is a lot better for the water I run in than a STV would be.

Rob.. You know lots more than me.. But I have been around a few Euro's with stock 260's....... I have yet to see one running high teens. What about Blake's old blue and white one? It has a 15" 260 and Dean is not even close to the high teens. My understanding was that boat was pretty fast for a Euro. Kevo's old red one is another that was under 110 with a 260 if I am not mistaken. And then there is momo! I think he's running like 68mph with a 245.. Our old buddy Rico was only doing 117 with a nice rocket and a Gryguc 280.

Is there that much in driver and such.. I would assume that the set up on the blue one would be close to what it was when blake had it.

The last thing I want to do is start a debate with you... I know when to stay on the porch.

I reference this thread... From a decade ago. I would think that a Rob Twible Euro would be on the very very very fast side of set up and motor. DoktorC says that you can't drive for shit.. (you can take that up with him.. Not my words..lol jk) so I don't know if that has a bearing. But if you ran 116 in yours once... I am gonna subtract a lot more than 5mph for steamer's rot box.
