Are we gonna see you out at any races this year Don?

Craig, I can't commit 100%, but I hope to be at Gravenhurst . I do like the idea of running a 60 hp 49 OMC short shaft big foot in T750.
It's a throw back to the original FE class before 1975. The twin carb 49 mercury raced in that class as well. I am sure if someone shows up with one on a Delta you would let it run.

I think if anybody is interested in the OPBRA racing reach out to Craig, baring that they just need to show up to the race with a boat that conforms to the safety regulations in the rules including floatation. After some discussions with Craig he will place them in the appropriate class that their boat fits. There are lots of guys around here that are more than willing to help out and get more boats to the races.

Right you are Paul! Every effort will be made even on race day to have all arrivals on the water.....there will be nobody watching from shore if I can help it. Anybody...especially newcomers...can always contact me with questions or if looking for parts or equipment. If I don't have the parts or the answers I'll get them in contact with somebody that does! Thanks!

I WAS ASKED IF I THOUGHT THE NEW T750 RULES HURT THE CLASS.

On my first read.....YES!
Now after thinking about them.....NO.....I am starting to like them.

.......

Thanks Don. This is exactly what needs to happen.
THINK ABOUT IT!
OPBRA is about the event, the competition and the fun in racing.
Take away the points, record setting, global recognition, etc. and what do you have left?
A bunch of people having fun with their boats!

Change is good!
Come on out and run with us.

92 entries at PTBO in 2019 up from 51 in 2017.
Somethings is working!
