That's his 13' mold. I've run with him and Don multiple times with multiple motors on it, runs really well! I also have some video of it flying with a 90 Merc if anyone wants to see that. Could be an interesting hull to play with! |

idvette wrote: That's his 13' mold. Chris resently updated his original thread on S & F https://www.screamandfly.com/showthread ... rph-V-Hull They didn't make many of the Murphy13 footers. With those molds still around, I wonder if Andrew, Tom and Chris could hook up and build some light weight 13 foot comp Murphy hulls? |

They are the 13 molds. Currently on the 9th coat of hull mold wax. A couple more to go and will be laying up a race version. |

In their 3 cylinder class they race many small tunnels...especially with the lower horsepower motors https://www.facebook.com/southeasterndr ... =3&theater Clink on the picture for more pictures...... They are successful running Sport C hulls with 40 to 70 hp and SST60 hulls with 90 yamahas. The tunnel would be a much easier boat to drive....the added surface of the tunnel disadvantage is eliminated because of the rolling start and the extra horsepower. https://www.facebook.com/pg/southeaster ... 9923652869 https://static.wixstatic.com/media/faa9 ... 2f~mv2.jpg |
