Jeff; what weekend is Gravenhurst this year? I was there as a spectator last year, good time and only a 45 min drive for me.

Doesn't put me on the spot. That's what I'm here for :)

The three classes we have now are good I think. . Let's see what new boats show this year. Hopefully we have a problem with too many boats , that would be a great thing for us.

Cheers

The emphasis still has to be on growing the sport and asking the question as to why are there not more speed & ski boats showing up for this class. First off kudos to those that are contributing to this class. I actually enjoy watching this class the most because we all at one time have owned or own these types of boats. It's clean safe fun that is like win on Saturday and take the family out on Sunday. How can you beat that bang for the buck ;)

Centre steer still gives the perception of a purpose " Race Boat" and also lets face the facts, there are way more side steer boats out there running 200s' compared to centre steer with 200s'. So in this case we need to attract the majority for our demographic here in ON.

So let's try and answer the question why we don't already have 20 boats in this class. We need to work at getting that number up first because the boats are out there ;).

I'm curious of being apart of this, but money holds me back... Vector with 225 would be perfect too.

To get more people involved, maybe some sort of promotional videos can be made? I'd also imagine most people don't run because they doubt they would be competitive. What types of numbers are on average being turned up for this class? Drag times and speeds

FluKy ...... you show up in Gravenhurst and I'll make sure your race entry is covered one way or another.

Stick a 22-24 on it and with some small driving tips and one day some easy jet changes and you'll be sending a few boats on trailer in a big hurry in FORMULA

Hope you'll make it out.

You make this very tempting to go for it! I have a drag plate for my motor too, would have it run really well out there. Oh man now I really want to do this! We will have to talk more about this I think!

Out of curiosity, what top speeds are most the Formula race class boats seeing at the end of the drag?
