What's the rule regarding switching boats between heats?
I think that's in the "unless otherwise noted" file!

race licenses
Do we need license with APBA.

Last time I raced (OPC), I got mine from APBA.
Does TORC require the same?
If so, I will re apply.

Is anyone running my# 92? , or 192

Winter will come & go fast,
Going to get my Shi* together instead of waiting last minute.

Weight classes, rules, safety prep on boat?

Hope to see as many racers as possible next month.
Is anyone staying overnight ?
Jeff

You can get your license with either the CBF or the APBA. The CBF is preferred if you want your points to count AND its Canadian.

CBFNC:
Am I on the correct site?
Head office is Valleyfield Qc. which is 15 minutes from my house.

I will give them a call to sign up:
Are we racing in the TORC series?

#92 or #192, Im coming to play next year. :D

Running an STV with 260 , 20" ridgeback mid.
Should I be looking to run a shorty mid for this class?
Will we be required to weigh in & at what weight?

Yes, I should be a pain in the as*, ha,ha
Do we having anybody else from Montreal?

No weights as of yet. Personally if I was you I'd leave the 20" for now. Besides its lighter then a 15"
No pain in the ass at all. Questions : no problem , feel free to ask anything you like
Great to see your enthusiasm for sure. :))

Stv92: contact me via erik.luksep@ge.com, I'll send/walk you thru CBF paperwork, what you need. This goes for all other Newbie/renewing Drags, get 2013 TORC/CBF memberships going.
I'm TORC Membership Guy, and wear a CBF hat as well. Call me(416-432-7243), I'll provide overview of CBF/TORC roles, racing in CDA. Looks like CBF# 92 & 192 both available, either yours once CBF application done. Lise Haineault is contact at CBF, Vfield, but I can send what you need. No need/benefit to join APBA.
Q: what's your best guess of potential 2013 Drag participants from PQ, how many others? Asking, because it makes possibility of an Eastern Ontario race site more relevant. Seems to me you'd be an enthusiastic candidate to drum up PQ racers, see who's interested. Could be a very interesting dynamic for the class.
Last couple of years TORC/OVPC have raced on Beaver Lake, 30min N of Napanee, but not Drags in 2012. TORC will be considering 2013 race venues shortly, certainly at AGM. To conduct cost effective race venues, TORC needs to maximize participation of all classes(Stock Outboard/T/Drag/Tcat) per race weekend wherever possible. Of course this needs to be balanced with limited racing hours in a given day, and being well organized.

TORC does have a couple of Stock Outboard racers from MTL, don't think they're coming to AGM.

Thanks Eric,

I'm in the office tomorrow & will send you an e-mail.

Note: I can only reply e-mails when Im in the office.
I can check my e-mails but not reply.
Working on the problem.

I have one other guy which should be coming to race with me.
Trying to get him to race also,
Keep you all posted on that.

Question:Why have we never had drag racing in Valleyfield Qc?
They run hydro's but there is a part on the lake that can set up a 1/4 run.
Calmer water, but still infront of the stands.

If you guys think its a good idea, I can visit & see what I can do.
Eastside of Quebec"Montreal area", is not far from Ontario border,

Anything i can do to help, let me know.
