Haha. Maybe it's a cottage toy for OneCycle... but we can dream he'll enjoy the afternoon zipping around a track.

You don't want/need trim on a ThunderCat.

trim is useless once it set the co-pilot dose the work, its good for beach landings that's about it.

FYI we Aquarius Inflatables will not be bringing any boats that are rated for anything above 50hp (Cesar is the same), they are not raced anywhere in the world besides the 4 boats in the US, in the conditions that these hulls are designed for you do not need the larger hp. unfortunately it a # Game 50hp is readily accessible from any dealer in NA with a tiller and to get new people involved it is a progression from cottage to race course, this is a long term plan obviously but it is the path we have chosen to follow. All our hulls are Transport Canada Approved and come with a warranty it is the only way to grow the market, most people will want more use from there boats than 4 weekends a year.

Yes 50HP is what the boats were designer for to jump surf and stuff, but racing on the flat water OPC / SO US circuits over that last 10+ years has driven the SLT teams to go with more horsepower. Before the bad ecomony hit there was a good mix (5 40HP, 6 60HP & 5 70+HP) Click here to see the boats http://inflatableboatracer.webs.com/teamprofiles.htm. This year SLT currently has 7 active teams (2 40 merc bandits, 2 60 merc outlaws and 1 70 yamaha and 3 sst60 x class) with another sst60 team pending thier aquisition of kevlar.
Although this would look way better on an Aquarius, Mike Hooper has this 40 Yamaha for sale http://www.facebook.com/steve.heuninck# ... =1&theater

heres the devils advocate, so not really enough to have a class with all the different sizes, if we went 50hp across the board and changed the track to make it challenging on the flat water we would have a good group lol.
