Post subject:  Small GT 30 race boats built from old PWC

There are lots of old SeaDoo and other PWC hulls out there. They can be FREE or very low cost.
How about a father child project and you convert one of these into a race boat?

Dillon???? Great father and son project...... a proven hull design without the styrene fumes lol.

I think the PWC dealy IS cool...don't get me wrong...but if you want a cheap GT30 boat it's staring us right in the face. I don't think the hull being made of wood is an issue give given there are only 2 850cc boats in t850 so tailoring the rules to what is available for the class isn't such a big deal. Just throwing it back out there :)

Yeah always thought the dillon boats would be a cool project. I also have a pwc hull sitting with a blown up engine (cheap yamaha engines!).

Either way Dok just tell me what you want to build. I'm sure I can get around you with OMC power in either! :mrgreen:
