Hello Racers,
I'm developing the idea for two annual races in Florida that would be outside of the typical northern race season. I'm trying to coax down some competition from the north so I don't want to interfere with your regular race schedule, hockey or the like. Once the lakes start to freeze or begin to thaw, you could hop on down to your friends in Panama City Beach for a weekend of warm(er) water racing. Even if there's not a snowball's chance in hell you could make it, I'd like to hear your thoughts.
Cracker Bay Long Hauler700+ mile race along the eastern coast of Florida

Panama City Beach to Destin (along the gulf beach) and back to Panama City Beach (via the bays/intercoastal)
Day 2: Typical surf racing short course
March 15th weekend
Water temps should be in the low 20's C (mid 70's F)
All the best,
Jim Keith
