I'm looking to add more setback on my stv. I currently have a 5.5" Jack plate and need something to bolt up making it around 10" total.

Thanks
James

Are you sure you want to go that far back? I know with a heavier V hull further is better, but I think 8" or so is common on hulls like yours. Maybe add a bob's convertible 2.5"??

My boat isn't very light - I had it made pretty solid. It's not naturally lifting until I'm up around 70-80. The 30P Et has made a big difference but I feel like I still need more lift to get it up and running sooner. I want to try a cleaver with my current setback to see if it's the stern that needs help. All in all I'm open to try anything to get it right! 2.5" would be a great start.
