Post subject:  2.6 Yamaha airbox
I have a drilled out airbox, opened up nat the back. Ray Nudacker suggested doing this to get the same gain as removing the airbox (slight) without the added noise. you do get some mess under the hood, noy much , but I noticed it on the side of my midsection coming from the pan. I would trade straight up for a stock airbox if someone is interested.

i run the stock air box and i have the same oil line down the side of my mid.. i think its from the oil tank vent. not sure yet.. I always assume the worst so my first thought when i saw oil on my mid was fml crank seal. :lol:
