Most of this stuff I have had since early 1990's. It has been in boxes in my garage since then.
- cast crank looks NEW......$225.00
- 49 block perfect standard bore.....$100.00
- standard bore pistons and rods for block above $150.00
- complete ignition system 1974....like new...likely NOS......$200.00

These are some parts I got this spring
- 1975...75 hp stinger carbs...$75.00
- 75 hp block, crank .....$150.00

My 49 OMC project.....why I got these parts out of storage;
I want to try a 2 cylinder OMC nitro case on a 49 OMC.
I was able to get a 15 inch drive shaft from Kevi and I have a spare 2 cylinder gear case.
The 2 cylinder nitro is the same high ratio as the big foot 3 cylinder gear case.
The problem with the high ratio gears in a nitro is they are much weaker because of the ratio and the assembly is different to the 3 cylinder nitro..
They do not last with a strong 49 or any 56 power head.

I was able to purchase a very nice 65 hp OMC powerhead. It is a complete bolt on runner so I do not need the parts listed above.
The T750 boys are getting 65 to 69 hp out of their 2 cylinders, so I think the 2 cylinder lower unit will last with this power head.
I could cryo the gears and prop shaft to make them stronger. Maybe?
