I have just finished making a bunch of these trim gauges. They should be back from anodizing tomorrow. Price is $140 and that includes the backing plate with 8-32 tapped holes for mounting. They take a standard 1/4" throttle/shifter cable and have approx 3 1/2" of linear travel. Just happens to be the same travel as the Mercury trim cylinders I just got for my Critch. Let me know if you need the cable to go to the left or right side. I had them anodized in red and blue so those are the colours to choose from for now.

For thru hull trim on race boats it's very easy. What I would like to do is find out what the most popular mid is that people are using on their fast lake boats or drag boats and make up something for that. I could do a step by step "how to" for a DIY guy or sell the finished product.

that's sweet!

A mount for lift would be great to put together as a "kit"

nice work!

Did you every put any complete kits together or of you still just sell the gauges? Also what is the distance from the back of the flange to where the cable goes in, my dash is probably a inch thick where I would like to put it.

Thanks Pete

Never got around to making the actuators. Still in the plans for one of these days but things have been very busy here. I'm pretty sure you'll be fine with a 1" thick dash but I will measure a part up when I'm back in the shop tomorrow. They are 1 1/4" I think.

Yep, 1 1/4". Will fit your dash no problem. I'm going to get some new pictures up soon. I get them laser engraved now and they look even better. It basically makes the anodizing white.
