We were looking hard at the Gen 1 150 HO Etec at the boatshow. It would be a pretty good J Craft motor. I'm not sure how it would fare on my SS2000.

I had the same feeling as David. It just doesn't seem to be the right motor for an STV.

I don't think you can stop at the cottage...that slocomp isn't going to like to float with 600lbs of Calvinator on the back lol.

Well, it kind of pains me to say this,.....but.......I agree with all of you guys. That G2 is waaay too big and heavy for that ProComp. And they still felt the need to add a hydraulic plate :roll:

That ProComp was designed with 360(ish) pound 2.4L Bridgeports in mind, not that tubby Transformer. Can a ProComp transom even realistically support all that ? Kirk, what do you think - you had one ?
