Many sellers do not know the models. I sent my brother in law on a waste of time trip to look at a mid 70's 75 hp short shaft. Ended up being a 60's V4 motor. |

I did the same and the seller conform that it was a 15" short shaft, I ran out after work with a pocket full of cash. Oh well I learned a good lesson that day. |
