15" mid no worky on my ride, coming off plane literally the powerhead would submerge, guys have tried, with limited success. It's got me thinking though about swapping powerheads though. My hpdi lower is holding up well in my application, that mid and lower is better served on a boat that can use a short mid.

This motor is the BEST deal in performance boating right now anywhere, serously! way better deal than anything anywhere ! period! 347hp at the propshaft with oil injection for this price from one of the best Yamaha camps in the world , you will NOT find a better horsepower deal anywhere anytime ever!!!! this is the blowout deal of the century, just sayin. .

Hydrotech actually rates them by crankshaft HP... But yes it is the deal of a century on one of these.
