Boomer, have you ran both sleds? i would not be suprised if the cat was faster than the polaris

well then maby you would be suprised lol . im not sure i havent lined them up, but this xcr pulls,HARD!!!. i think the f7 might top out a bit higher rigth now as is vs as is, but i fuked the gearing in the xcr its way low, 22-41 i know it can pull some nasty tall gears it had 26-38 when i got it :o f7 has 24-39 (1.62:1) im going to put the same in the xcr and see how it likes it , f7 is lighter, but the xcr makes more power. both sleds are arguable the last of the fast 2 stroke sleds ever made. a mach z would be a good addition to the collection but iv never liked them so i dont think i would own one. i would like a viper :D

i know the 03 f-7 was fast, then they detuned them a bit in o4,so i dont know about a 04 f-7 but a triple probably will always have more top end,but you just need to beat someone acrossed the odd lake. lol

The 03 F7 was a rocket...they all blew up...but it's deadly fast.

All out radar running the xcr MIGHT put up a better number...might.

The is no way pistons will make any noticeable difference in performance...NO WAY.

the frames in the 03 are weak, they didnt get much better but the 05- newer ones have different frame brace and mounts for the pipe. 03 might of had a different ecu, the 04 has least timing advince, the 06' has the most timing.

they all had slight differences but all can be made to beat on each other. if i could i would find an 06 sno pro chassis and dunk the f7 motor in it, and gear it low. That would be a fun sled where i live ..
