Who is going to race T750 next year?

It would be nice to get at least 4-5 boats with firm commitments so people can build something for next year and know that they can race. If we have at least 4-5 boats we should be able to run the class even if we have a no show at the odd race.

I'm willing to put a delta back together for 750 as my son has expressed an interest in racing. What I don't really want is him showing up at a race with a 750 boat and having to race in 850 due to lack of 750 boats.

Depending on race sites for next year we can probably make 3 of the 4 races with the boat due to transportation logistics.

Cheers,

Safety gear should not be an issue depending on when 750's run in the program in comparison to 850's, additionally the hydro guys have been great at loaning stuff to us.

As LC said this would not be a problem. We may have people running both T850 and T750.
If this happens then the classes would run at two different times during the event. Just as we do with other SO classes. Then you can loan the gear from a T850 guy. So LC if your son doesn't race, you could run in both classes.
AND YES YOU CAN TOW 2 TRAILERS WITH ONE VEHICLE. Scott Whittington did it several times.

I also going to try and get Sheila and Scott Whittington involved in organizing the launching for this group at the races. I think we may even get Scott in a T750 boat. On the same note. If there are any of you out there who would like to be a non racer and work with the T group in a supporting role. We would welocme you with open arms. It is also a good way to further your interest in boat racing and this is a GREAT group of people.

Just been advised by Craig Fraser that Scott was stopped and told he could not pull 2 trailers.
Thanks for the update.

From the MTO site

Towing More Than One Vehicle
Cars, passenger vans and SUVs are not permitted to tow more than one trailer or one vehicle. Motor homes, trucks, pickup trucks and truck campers are legally permitted to tow two trailers or a trailer and a motor vehicle behind a trailer. However, a three vehicle combination that is swaying excessively, is unstable or has reduced handling capabilities is subject to action by the police as an unsafe combination of vehicles under the Highway Traffic Act.

The maximum length of any combination of vehicles is 23 m (75' 6").

I guess the yound lad better kiss up to his mother to drag his boat to the races! lol

It's true!!

Well... I gave "The Gun" back his T850 motor... and I left with a Great T750 powerhead and mid! :D I just need to put everything together and work on making it all pretty over the winter.

I could never say enough about what Paul has done to keep me running! 8-)
