Didn't you have Vdoo? Silly man.
A Critch with cowl on, she'd only fit under steering wheel facing backward.

"That idea didn't go over well???????... please elaborate! I have raced both T and TC and I can tell you:
- TC is just as fast as T
- the TC ride is way more stable
- a win is way more fun, as you can high five with someone while you are still on the water
- you can take people for rides
- water conditions do not matter, the rougher the better.

Oh great...an our class is better than your class thread :)...I think I'll keep my sarcasm to myself....

TC may be as fast as T...but to make it exciting it would have to be at least twice as fast. Sitting in Scott Whittington's motorhome at 67 is about as exciting...but at least he's got rum.

TC is more stable...ya...more stability in my raceboat please....see above comment...

you can high five someone while on the water...if you were any good in a T you can do that no problem...me and LC will demonstrate after we crush the field at Top 'O this summer

Water conditions....what ev er...my voodoo eats up anything we see on the course like Hydroid's mother-in-law eats a bag of chips...if we're headed to the ocean well...we're gonna need a bigger boat...

The right turn is cool...but half of our guys can't turn left so...

To make a drive shaft for the nitro, you would need a 2 cylinder drive shaft, a 70hp long shaft cut and welded in 2 places to make it the same.
The gear case housing is the same for the 2 cylinder and the nitro. Some of the 2 cylinders came with the same bearing carriers, some had a different style forward bearing carrier. The water pumps are different but the large gear case has the same water pump as the nitro from what I could see.

Here is a brand new 2 cylinder short drive shaft. Would this one work?

The splines for the pinion gear will work but that one fits a different style water pump and has a fine spline on the crankshaft end. You might be able to make it work by using the 2 cylinder water pump. I don't know how different the water pump housing is because I don't have one here but I'm sure you could make the pipe fit some how. Then you would only need to weld the drive shaft in one place to put the proper spline on the crankshaft shaft end from the longshaft 70.

I definitely did not intent to go down the our class / your class road, T850 rocks! I am just curious as to why the idea of a Thundercat didn't go over well?

Steve, it had nothing to do with the boat being a Thunder Cat. It was we don't need yet another boat. We have 11 now.
That was the reason.
