The TORC Six Mile Trophy
Erik asked about it this week.
The Rules were posted on another site and with the thread deleted
I am having trouble remembering them.
So you can correct me if I am wrong.

The TORC Six Mile Trophy
The Trophy..hopefully is a Keg of Canadian.
It is non-returnable to TORC.
It is disposable.
There is no plaque.
It is only about the current winner, no mention of the losers and no mention of previous year’s winners.
It is All about “WINNING” the current year and Tiger Blood.

The Rules
You must be on Six Mile Lake
You must be a TORC member
You can race in multiple classes, however, you can only count the points from one class.
You must share the Trophy with the losers.
They in turn must call you CHAMP until the new winner the following year.
If the Winner is underage, the trophy can be consumed by the parent or guardian.
The points record is the official TORC listing. The decision is final and there will only be one winner.

SIX MILE RACERS….HAVE I GOT IT RIGHT?

I think we have a problem this year. The winner is too young to pick up the beer!

Best you show up at the TORC Meeting in November for discussion.

I was very pleased to present the Trophy to Hydroid Junior at the TORC awards lunch on Saturday. I bet there is a picture out there on the web. Dad was pleased with the trophy as well. It is the only trophy that is lighter when you have to return it. I am not sure what their plan is on sharing it. SHARING IS ONE OF THE RULES! The trophy contains 88 small trophies.
I hope to have this trophy as an annual prize. The name and the reason it is awarded will change every year. We will see what happens during the 2013 race season and decide.
