There was some talk last weekend about having a demo/race sort of thing at Rideau Ferry. The Top-O race looks like a blast but over 7hrs from my place according to Mapquest and Rideau Ferry just over 5.5hrs. Both a good hike from my place. Top-O looks more fun but I think I'd rather support a Canadian event if we are able to do it. What's everyone's thoughts on this? Any interest in either one? Both are the same weekend.

I think the T's have more than enough guys to do both. Both sites would be glad to get 5-6 boats I'm sure.

I sure wish these were on different weekends. Doesn't look like any takers for Rideau Ferry. I'm directionally challenged. I'll get lost on a long course lol. Gonna need a chart plotter for the Rapid Craft haha

I think there will be some guys going to Rideau Ferry as well. I just want to do Top O at least once so if the gang is going this year to top o them I'm in as I don"t think you will always get enough boats in any one year to run at Top O. If Top O falls through I'm in for Rideau Ferry.
