The T guys do have the collective act together, no doubts about it. However...I also think at times we compromise as a class when we really don't need to.

We even continue to support those T boat guys who have ventured into the sandy pits....tsk tsk....

But....we come to race...drink/eat/be merry...and race. So....if we have 2 classes (3 boats in each class)...let us race.

Yes we are at the Marriot again this year....what are you stalking us! :shock:

Only one 49 owner showed. That was Larry from 6 mile. He forgot his boat.
Due to the bad weather on Sunday, we were not able to race.
T classes on Saturday did have some interesting events.
First we had new people running. And people who had basically zero run time.
Turn out was better than expected.
T750
We were missing two top running boats. Jake and Craig. Thom had their Allison running perfect and he was well ahead of the field. Dan's motor quit at the launch ramp, so he did not run.
The first heat had no surprises. They all got good starts. Thom pulled the field followed by Jeremy, Jesse and Jim.
The second heat was way more interesting. Jim got the toaster thru turn one with the lead. Thom passed Jim on lap one. Jeremy was in a battle. Every turn Jim gave him a bath. Finally on the last lap Jeremy got by him for a well deserved second place finish. Thom, Jeremy, Jim and Jesse.
T850
Mike raced their beautiful Metal Flake Allison for the first time. I am sure he will be back.
Ryley had his first run ever in his Critchfield. All when well and he will be racing it again.
Kevin raced his Rapid Craft with little testing.
Eric decided to race Dave Elsey's Allison. A boat he had never raced
Mike Hooper ran his most successful motor.
We knew it would be interesting and it was!
In heat one Waterford winner, Rusty got a great start and lead from start to finish.
The battle was for second, Mike Hooper was leading Eric right up to the exit of the LAST turn where his motor blew. He DNF. Rusty, Erik and Kevin.
In heat two, it was the reverse. Kevin got a lead and Erik could not catch him. Rusty was third.

Had a great weekend. Thanks Will Hunter and TORC for the great job organizing it all and Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Northbase for the accommodations and the great meal! Oh, and I talked to Hooper later on. He said the motor is fine. Just had some electrical issues.

Just want to say thanks to Don and Mike for the use of their safety gear on Saturday. Even though I was unable to run due to a mechanical failure I still had a great time! Thanks to Kevin for taking the time after his race to help me locate and find the problem as to why my engine was pissing out fuel! Also to everyone else that I had the chance to talk to Saturday, more tips and tricks learned for next time. I really hope to make it to Halliburton, and to put down some quality laps.

I would like to say
That this was a great weekend
I learned a lot had a awesome time and was blown away by everyone's willingness to help out from tips and tricks, to giving me a place to spend the night and a great meal.
I was , am truly blown away.

You all made the new guy feel right at home.
