:) That will work!!! Problem is finding a RC pilot in your area that has a Harrier or equivalent.

I am checking the clubs in the area. I also thought of having drones drop prizes to the crowd.

Drones,...sure,....I'll PM my buddy Mullah Abdullah in Arfghanistan, what prizes US drones drop at their donkey races as cover while burying explosive IUD's.

I was kinda thinking "The Texis Exhaust Hell Drivers" featuring Craig Fraser would come out and thrill the fans. We could launch him with a Tboat cannon into the river and then he could do with some side of the boat driving and maybe a jump through the ring of fire.

Drone cameras are great. Here is a clip if the SLTs at Walled Lake.

There is one major difference with the new generation. They do not like same-same and they like hi tech. We should always be looking at adding something new to the events. The boat races will still be there, but I think it important to change the add in parts of the program regularly. It keeps the non 100% boat race fans coming back year after year. We should also be looking at getting hi tech into the program. Say a link on your phone that links you to a camera on a race boat racing in the heat currently racing. We can not afford to be a NASCAR, but there are some of their ideas we can copy with simple technology which improve the fan experience.

Like I said, I was at gravenhurst on the Saturday with my gf and her 7 year old son. They were into it for a full 15 minutes, then they were ready to leave. "What's going on?" "Why aren't they doing anything?" "This is boring." Were what I was dealing with for about another hour, until they decided to leave and go shopping while I stayed and watched. Now I admit, this kind of thing isn't for everyone, but keeping the lulls in action to a minimum and maybe more information for the casual spectator (programs, etc) would go a long way. Again, I don't want to be critical, I enjoyed myself, and I know a lot of people put a lot of time and effort into these events, just an opinion from the bleachers....
