The outboard attendance was overwhelming! lol.

No Ts
No Drags
7 Stockers
Proxy votes were not permitted (a rule was pointed out in the rule book that stated that I heard. I wasn't invovled) There was only about 15 inboard sided people there and some of them would have been friendly to plan TORC had in mind, so it's too bad that some people didn't show up.

I don't believe a single CBF High Point Champ was there from Outboard to claim a prize at the dinner.

Elected
Pres - Paul Reid
Treasurer - Jason Famme
Secretary - Micheal someone (previous person holding the seat)
VP Public Relations - Andrew Fralick

Spots not voted on (1 year left in their terms)
VP West - Brian MacGregory
VP East - Eric Abel
VP Clubs - Scott (last name escapes me)

In Outboard meeting, all rule changes made in 2013 were revoked due to no paper trail and no minutes able to be found. Started meeting with 2012 rules. 5 Rule changes were made... the gist of them below

- Make T class their own category
- Clearly define the Hot and Cold pit areas
- races same weekend have to be over 400 km apart (shifting rule from GGR to Outboard)
- forget the other two.
-

If people don't start caring about stuff and getting invovled, regardless who has control this sport will not last much longer.

I know most of the T's , Drag and SO were not going because they thought the proxy vote would be permitted and it is a costly weekend to attend.

Anyone know where the paper work went?

I guess it depends on what's costly to people then... I dont have much money currently so day tripped it with one other person. Total cost each $46.25 including the meeting cost. Got to catch up and hangout with some racing friends for the day.

I'm sure more of us would have made the trip had we have known our proxy votes wouldn't count. That's roughly a 5 hour trip for me one way. I haven't had to drive that far for a race. Would have cost me close to $200 just for the fuel...

The proxy thing was one thing...

Also:
- people have been yapping on here for months about rule changes for 2014, no one from here went to suggest any changes.
(you should be there to defend yourself from any changes too... say someone said it was cc only racing from now on, mod all you want, or 850s had to have a capsule... it would pass if no one was there.)
- high point awards... Of the approximately 31 Outboard awards to be handed out (top three for classe and specical recognition awards), 1 winner person was present.

And yes I realize it's a long way for some. Others it wasn't. Many likely drank more beer on the weekend than was required in gas money.

Anyway, I'm moving on :)

I would have attended but I had work obligations........ It doesn't help that the notice for the CBF AGM was so short.
