Erik,
Do you want us to bring any boats/motors for the static display?

T & Drag: park trailered boats (T & Drag) at dedicated fenced off area by Grace & Speed Museum. Security will patrol Friday night. Boats will be launched 9am Saturday morning after driver meeting(8am) by Kubota, to be driven to C dock, will remain there for the day until end of show, approx 6pm. Then back to ramp and out. Drag will be on display through the day, T's will launch from there for the 2 demo's.
.

Eric,
Please clarify, are the drags running or simply on display?

It's official, Drags are running. I will combine BCH/20H(6) & CSH/302(5) to get Drags on Schedule.
Usually we have 20H attrition, so makes sense to combine similar/compatible classes, keeping in mind this not a race but a 'vigorous demo'.

Pat advised today he's bailing, bloody shame bc the Stream is a classic Classic, and rips.
So now we're down to 4 Drags: Archer, Northbase, Motoboat, Top Gun, all good players, but small representation to project robust racing in Ontario for this category. You will not get a larger audience anywhere.
Let's get 2 more, to ensure minimum 3 pair passes to maximum 6 per slot?
This is important, since as the 3rd pair are going down, the first pair can return via back stretch to line up for another pass.
Jeff, Himagain, Bigelow, other? You guys pull together quickly, let me know the commitment.

BTW, there will be 3-4 capsuled tunnels running, including 2 Molinari's, one driven by Rotharmel, and Venton's F2 Grand Prix.

Just talked to Archer, he can't make it. He's got a wedding to attend but he will be bringing a barge to act as dock space.

Wow, down to 3 Drag(NB, Motoboat, Top Gun) at best; recruit quickly(eg: Bigelow, Himagain, Momo, Tomcat), or Gig/RBT behind another of yours.
Although helpful for Inboard launching, not sure a barge accurately represents racing in Ontario; how fast does it go, or should we measure thrust in a 'Tug' category?

They also make great trash compactors if something (or someone) gets in the way!
